Batik dresses are made using a unique method of wax-resist dyeing that originated in and has become associated with the cultural identity of Indonesia. By selectively applying waxes and then dyes in successive layers, skilled artisans are able to create wonderfully brilliant, highly intricate patterns on fabric that can then be used to make a variety of batik clothing.Our dresses are available in a remarkably diverse range of silhouettes that range from relatively simple black and white patterns to beautiful, brightly colored designs. All of our fashion is produced in-house in our factory in India, enabling us to create batik fashion that is not only original but unique, and ideally suited for so many different occasions!
